海洋环流动力学近海环流与物质运输
Coastal circulation and mass transport

 

以近海环流为核心,研究从湍流尺度到环流尺度的各种近海动力过程,特别关注的是潮流占优情形下的潮致余流问题,同时研究近海环流引起的物质输运,以及以此为基础的泥沙输运过程和生态动力过程。研究方法包括理论分析、现场观测、数值模拟和实验室实验,研究定位既包括以潮致余流为特色的近海环流和输运这样的基础研究,也包括如风暴潮预报在内的应用研究,还包括数值格式方面的方法论研究。重点关注的海域是中国陆架海域及其附属的海湾和河口。

  本单元主要关注以下几个方面的研究:

拉格朗日时均环流及输运的研究
       2.
风暴潮机制与预报
       3.
生态动力学研究
       4.
泥沙输运动力学
       5.
数值模拟及数值同化研究

Focusing on the coastal circulation, the direction of Coastal circulation and mass transport studies the coastal dynamic processes cover the length scales from the turbulence scale to the circulation scale, especially interested in the tidal-induced residual current in the tidal dominant areas. The coastal circulation-induced mass transport which arise the studies on the sand transport processes and the ecological dynamic processes are also concerned. The research methods include theory analysis, field observation, numerical simulation and laboratory experiment. The studies involve fundamental research on the coastal circulation and mass transport, the application research such as the prediction of the storm surge as well as the methodology research on the numerical scheme studies. Chinese shelf seas, the bays and estuary areas are the main region for the research.
The main aspects of the research are as follows:

1. The Lagrange Tidally-averaged Circulation and Mass Transport;

2. The Mechanisms and Prediction of the Storm Surge;

3. Ecological Dynamic Study;

4. Dynamics of Sediment Transport;

5. Numerical Simulation and Numerical Assimilation.
