个人履历：

1984年本科毕业于原山东海洋学院海洋气象专业，1987年7月在该校获得理学硕士学位后留校工作，1993年被破格提升为副教授。1997年7月获得青岛海洋大学理学博士学位，1999年3月获得日本东京大学理学博士学位。目前是中国海洋大学海洋与大气学院教授、博士生导师。其中自2010年2月至2016年5月担任中国海洋大学研究生院常务副院长，2016年5月至2019年7月担任中国海洋大学海洋与大气学院党委书记。

自2010年起担任山东省气象学会副理事长，2010年起担任国务院学位委员会学科评议组第六届、第七届海洋科学学科评议组秘书。担任《海洋气象学报》副主编，是《中国海洋大学学报(自然科学版)》和《大气科学学报》编委。参加过多次国际学术会议并担任分会主席。多年为中国国家自然科学基金委员会(NSFC)和美国国家自然科学基金委员会(NSF)评审基金。多次参加过国家和有关省(部)的科技奖励评审。


研究方向及成果：

　　长期从事海雾和海上爆发性气旋的研究，在包括 Journal of the Atmospheric Sciences，Monthly Weather Review，Journal of Applied Meteorology and Climatology, Journal of the Meteorological Society of Japan，Advances in Atmospheric Sciences，Atmospheric Research 等国际一流学术刊物上发表文章100多篇，已经出版英文专著两部，2018年出版《海洋气象学》，研究成果对于丰富海洋气象学的研究内容、提高对灾害性天气系统的认识水平做出了贡献。1999年获国家教育部科技进步三等奖；2006年获得全国优秀气象科技工作者荣誉称号。已经完成国家自然科学基金四项，国家科技部“863”项目以及中国气象局行业专项《黄渤海海域海雾监测与大气水平能见度反演技术研究(GYHY200706031) 》等多个科研项目。
